Bathroom Remodel for Veteran | Roanoke VA
Project Description
We remodeled this veteran’s bathroom using the SAH Grant to create an open space that is more accessible for a wheelchair. We installed a custom tile corner curbless shower. The shower included a fixed head shower head and a handheld shower head on a slide bar, grab bars, and a niche. We installed tile on the floor and on the wall to create a wet room. We installed a comfort height commode and a fold-down grab bar next to the commode. We installed a roll-under vanity with a custom niche next to it for storage. We installed all new bathroom accessories and new lighting. We reinstalled the customers soaking tub. We installed a wide barn door between the bathroom and the bedroom.
