Project Description
The New Construction in Floyd involved building a four-bay garage with a two-bedroom, two-bath apartment above, following a previous project where we created an accessible living space for the clients’ son who was injured while serving in Iraq. This new structure, fondly named the “Garage Mahal,” was designed to offer both utility and comfort. The garage boasts a heated slab, epoxy-coated floors, and a half bath to ensure convenience and durability.
Above the garage, the apartment features a spacious kitchen adorned with cherry cabinets, quartz countertops, and tile flooring. The living room complements this luxury with hardwood floors and built-in bookcases, establishing a comfortable and welcoming home environment. This construction project not only provided functional and luxurious additional living space for the family but also continued our commitment to supporting the needs of veterans and their families, emphasizing accessibility, quality, and attention to detail throughout the design and building process.
