Addition for Veteran | Roanoke VA
Project Description
This veteran had a very small bedroom and bathroom that he could not access easily. We built an addition onto his bedroom that connected to this deck. We installed new LVP flooring, trim, ceiling fans, a new heating/cooling unit, and painted. We also remodeled his bathroom to make it wheelchair accessible. We installed tile on the floor and walls to create a wet room. We installed a fixed shower head and a handheld shower head on a slide bar. We installed a fold down shower seat, grab bars, a comfort height commode, and a roll under sink. We installed water rated electrical fixtures and covers to keep them safe being in a wet room environment. We installed a wide pocket door for easier access.
